Welcome Cyclone! We are glad you are here to start your journey of pursuing health and wellness. There are eight dimensions of wellness that can impact state of well-being: physical, emotional, social, environmental, occupational, financial, spiritual and intellectual.

We're happy you're here to begin your wellness journey!

Use Our Wellbeing Self-Assessment Tool

This 10-15 minute self-assessment is intended to help identify possible health and well-being issues that may be affecting you and your success at ISU. When you complete the confidential self-assessment, you will be provided with some personalized feedback on different areas of your health and well-being to review. At the end of the self-assessment you can opt in to meet with a Wellbeing Coach, a confidential student to student program.

  • Schedule an Initial Counseling Appointment

Student Counseling Services appointments are free and confidential. Schedule your initial appointment to speak with a professional to help identify the best resources to assist you with your concern.

  • Cyclone Support

Cyclone Support is a directory of resources available to Iowa State students across all topics. It's a great place to start when you aren't sure what resources may be available to you.

  • Schedule a Doctor Appointment

If you aren't feeling quite right, schedule an appointment at the Thielen Student Health Center. The providers at Thielen will work with you to help identify what may be going on and develop a course of treatment.

  • Make a Request

This request form contains various outreach, presentations, trainings, programs, interviews, and materials that campus and community partners can request from the Student Health and Wellness Unit.
