World AIDS Day Events

Iowa State University and the Ames community will be observing World AIDS Day from November 26 through December 1, 2007. Major events include red ribbon distribution at the Union Drive Community Center (T-W) and the Memorial Union (Th-F) this week from 10 am to 2 pm; A Day Without Art, with shrouding of artwork as a visual representation of the lives lost to HIV Disease, starting at 5 pm on Thursday; and guest speakers at Hoover Hall 2055 on Thursday speaking on HIV and AIDS' impact on families in central Iowa at 7 pm.
